Budget Triumphants

So this afternoon, after the kids and I had gone to get a few needed items, I figured I better sit down and take a quick look at my budget.

I am in the process of making a financial recovery from the last couple of years of financial nightmares... For so long, I was doing pretty good financially. Then it went down hill. I still was making ends meet, but it was a constant struggle.

Now, finally there is LIGHT at the end of the tunnel and it isn't a train :)

As I sat looking at the finacial picture for the next few pay days and I am AMAZED! We actually have some money to spare. I am going to be putting a bit aside for a savings account to be able to buy a car first. It may be possible that I will be able to pay cash for a reasonable vehicle here in the next couple of months instead of strapping myself to a car payment. I'll have to sit again and really look at what we are spending and see if I can't tighten up somewhere to be able to pull it off a little faster.

6 months ago, I was struggling just to make the basics. This is one of those things that really makes me feel JOYFUL!
